Georgia Milestones Math Practice and EOG Guide
Georgia Milestones End-of-Grade Mathematics assesses Georgia's current K–12 Mathematics Standards in Grades 3–8. The official July 2025 blueprints organize content by grade-specific reasoning categories.
Who takes Milestones Math?
Georgia public-school students in Grades 3–8 take the Milestones Mathematics EOG assessment near the end of the school year.
2026–27 testing schedule
Georgia publishes a statewide administration window and districts choose local dates. A verified 2027 statewide window was not available when this guide was reviewed, so families should use school communications for exact dates.
Test structure and practice
The current Grades 3–8 blueprints specify two 65-minute sections, 50 operational items, five field-test items, and 58 operational points. Eight technology-enhanced items are worth two points officially.
TestByState provides two original 25-question sections and excludes field-test items. Category question counts approximate official point weights because product questions are currently scored as objective one-point items.
