Arizona AASA Math Practice and Parent Guide
Arizona's Academic Standards Assessment (AASA) Mathematics measures the 2016 Arizona Mathematics Standards in Grades 3–8. Beginning in 2025–26, standards marked essential receive proportionally greater emphasis within the published domain blueprint.
Who takes AASA Math?
Arizona public-school students in Grades 3–8 take grade-level AASA Mathematics in the spring. Computer-based testing is the default administration mode.
2026–27 testing schedule
Arizona's July 2026 assessment overview listed a tentative computer-based AASA window of March 29–April 23, 2027. ADE still labeled the detailed Spring 2027 calendar as coming soon when this page was reviewed, so families should confirm the final window and local date.
Test structure and practice
AASA Mathematics uses the published grade-level domain blueprint and current essential-standard emphasis. Public materials describe computer-based delivery and technology-enhanced item formats but do not establish one fixed operational item total.
TestByState provides original fixed 40-question practice informed by official domain percentages. It does not claim that 40 is an official total or reproduce every vendor interaction; practice results are not official AASA scores.
